Musically, Eliaskirken is a jazz church with jazz services and jazz concerts several times a week. In addition, every Wednesday there is Opinion, Faith and Ethics with current affairs conferences, which begin with a religious service. The Elias Church is also home to the Vesterbro Gospel Choir and the Folkekirken for Internationals, an English-language community for many of the city's non-Danish-speaking inhabitants. Therefore, many Sunday services are in English. The church crypt is home to several AA groups, as well as the Night Light Café, a place for foreign sex workers.
