Fruits of Tom Watson type but somewhat thicker and shorter; rind dark green, thin but tough; flesh bright red, of good texture and flavor. Seeds black, medium size. Chilean m . 18 85 A nearly round variety of medium size. Outside color medium green with darker green stripes. Rind thin and tough, flesh deep, red, medium sweet. There are two strains of this variety: the more common one black seeded, the other white. Citron, Green-seeded 12 95 Used only for preserving. Fruits round with dark and light green striping.
