MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII – Pickle Weed, an invasive plant species, covers a wetland in the Nu’upia Ponds Wildlife Management Area, March 1, 2017. Every year MCB Hawaii and base environmental facilities partner together for the annual ‘Mud Ops’ to remove invasive plant species from wetlands to clear up areas for shorebirds and seabirds.
