In onedesign of the bulk-discharge type, straight extensions onthe operating levers, connect with the door rods and thedoors are opened or closed by pulling or pushing on thelever cross-bar. In another similar bucket the operating levers are con-nected to the door rods by means of a slotted plate at-tached to a bar moving vertically in guides on the sideof the bucket. By pulling or pushing on the lever cross-bar, the bottom doors may be opened or closed.
