Williams was born in this township June 2, 1834. Heis a son of Isaac J, and Anna AVilliams, natives, respectively, ofKy. and Tenn. They are among the earliest settlers of the county,having come here in the year 1829. George T. Williams, thesubject of this sketch, is a farmer on sec. 13, and is the owner ofover 400 acres of land. Mr. T. was married May 6, 1858, to MissRebecca A. Macy, a native of Randolph county, Ind. Their homehas been blessed with three daughters and three sons, of whom twogirls and one boy are living. Mr. W. acts with the Republicanparty, and is a member
