Wooden detail of the Carpathian Ruthenian Church of Saint Michael Archangel (Kostel svatého archanděla Michaela) dated from the second half of the 17th century in the Kinský Garden (Zahrada Kinských) on the slopes of Petřín Hill in Prague, Czech Republic. The traditional Carpathian wooden church was originally built in the village of Velké Loučky in Carpathian Ruthenia (now Velyki Luchky in Ukraine). In 1793 the church was sold to the nearby village of Medvedovce (now Medvedivtsi in Ukraine) and in 1929 it was moved again to the current location in Prague.
