The ciiiarj,'e(i. specimen figured, which I refer to this species, has another denticle on the col- iiinella, and a lamina-like process within the aperture at the b'ase of the last whorl. Full information on the species is given by Morch, 1. c. He describes the animal as grayish, foot bluish-gray; head, eye-peduncles, and mantle margin black; eye-peduncles rather long 5 tentacles none or nearly none; the foot a little shorter than the shell.
