Upper lip: — The part between the combs on the postero-ventral edge of this lipis rather deeply and narrowly notched; it is not quite as deep as in my fig. 15 of C. paragnates are of about the same type as in C. symmetrica. Female: — Shell: — Length: According to G. W. Muller, 0,8—0,95 mm. The specimensmeasured by me were 0,7—0,85 mm. long. Length : height about 1,4 : 1. The left unsyrametrical gland has its exit some-what ventrally of the postero-dorsal corner of the shell; see the accompanying fig. 4. In otherrespects it is like that of the male.
