Retired Marine and Medal of Honor recipient Hershel “Woody” Williams fires the pistol starting the 43rd Marine Corps Marathon for the push rim, hand crank, and mobility participants in Arlington, Va., Oct. 28, 2018. Also known as "The People's Marathon," the race drew roughly 30,000 participants to promote physical fitness, generate goodwill in the community, and showcase the organizational skills of the Marine Corps.
