When cut it is exquisite in combination with other flowers. Hardy Ornamental Grasses The ornamental grasses can be used with telling effect, either as individual specimens in the border or on the lawn; large beds or borders planted entirely to the different varieties are attractive; they can also be used to advantage interspersed in the shrubbery border or when planted in clumps on the margin of ponds or lakes.
