PACIFIC OCEAN (April 14, 2017)Marine Corps ordnance technicians assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 163 (Reinforced), 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (11th MEU), prepare to lift a Mark 82, 500-pound high explosive bomb onto an AV-8B Harrier aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island (LHD-8) as part of a bilateral training exercise conducted with Malaysian Armed Forces. The Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group and the 11th MEU are deployed to the 7th Fleet area of operations in support of regional security and stability.
