Prince James Francis Edward Stuart (1688-1765), The Old Pretender with his sister Princess Louisa Maria Theresa Stuart (1692-1712). Their father King James II (1633-1701), had been forced to abdicate in 1688. He was excilled in France at Germain-en-Laye, the chateau supplied to the Stuarts by Louis XIV (1638-1715).
