MEDITERRANEAN SEA (June 1, 2017) - Electronics Technician 2rd Class James Beyer has his second class petty officer crows pinned on him by Electronics Technician 2rd Class Joshua Burgess during a promotion ceremony aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Carney (DDG 64) in the Mediterranean Sea June 1, 2017. Carney, forward-deployed to Rota, Spain, is conducting its third patrol in the 6th Fleet area of operations in support of national security interests in Europe.
