A huge flock of starlings perform spectacular displays in the air above Aberystwyth on the west Wales coast Each evening between October and March tens of thousands of the birds fly in huge ‘murmurations; in the sky above the town before settling to roost for the night on the cast iron legs of the Victorian seaside pier.
