A German flintlock carbine,Elias Schinzel in Berlin,circa 1700. Octagonal rifled barrel in 11 mm calibre,slightly swamped at the muzzle,with a dovetailed brass front sight on top and a cut rear sight. Sparsely cut and engraved flintlock,the trigger screw has the shape of a mascaron. Set trigger. Carved full stock with engraved and faceted iron furniture. Wooden ramrod with iron tip. Length 73 cm.
