PLANTS—GENERAL COLLECTION. SWAINSONIA GALEGIFOLIA ALBA. A most desirable ever-blooming plant, with pure white flowers, produced in sprays of from 12 to 20 flowers each, the individual blooms resembling a sweet pea. As a decorative plant for the win- dow or conservatory we know of nothing that will give as much satisfaction as the swainsonia. Its easy culture, growing in almost any light position, its freedom of bloom, rarely ever being out of bloom, and the grace and beauty of the flower and entire plant will undoubtedly make this one of the most popular plants in cultivation. 15c, 4 for 50c. SANSEVERIA ZEALANICA. A beautiful plant, splendidly adapted for house decoration, as it stands drouth and dust with impunity. The leaves grow to a length of 3 to 4 feet, and are beautifully striped cross- wise with broad, white variegations on a dark, green ground. It is a rare and beautiful plant, which should be abundantly grown for posi- tions out of the reach of sunlight, where other plants will not thrive. It has a singular beauty for decorative purposes which other plants do not pos- sess, and is useful both Winter and Summer. For vases or baskets it makes a fine center piece, and it grows splendidly out of doors during the Summer months.
