The demonstration for the Freedom of the Saharawi People, has left the Plaza de España at 12 in the morning to end at the Puerta del Sol, where an act has been carried out. This march that began in Cádiz on April 15 and has traveled through different regions of the Spanish geography. The "March for Freedom" was born from the logic of non-violent direct action to vindicate and give visibility to the struggle of the Sahrawi people and, in this way, raise awareness among different political groups and, above all, citizens, of the emergency situation experienced by the Saharawi population, which has been seeking peace for more than forty years and has been forced to once again exercise legitimate defense against the flagrant warlike aggression of the Moroccan Armed Forces. Faced with such a serious situation, it is our duty to denounce the constant violation of human rights by the Moroccan repressive apparatus that occupies Western Sahara and demand the immediate intervention of the Spanish Government as a responsible party in the political situation in Western Sahara. The objectives of this event have been: Make visible the struggle of the Saharawi people. Denounce the genocidal Moroccan occupation, the plundering of the natural resources of the Saharawi people and the violations of human rights in the Occupied Territories of Western Sahara. Demand the UN, the European Union and the Government of Spain to complete the decolonization process and put an end to the impunity with which Morocco constantly violates international law.
