In shape and size it somewhat resembles the Cashaw, but much more beautiful in color, being- a handsome green and white striped. The flesh is a rich yellow color, solid, fine grained, very thick; flavor delicious. ZiABGE CHEESi: or KEITT'D'CKY FIEZiD—A very large flattened pumpkin, averaging about 2 feet through. When ripened the skin is a rich cream color. Flesh yellow and of fine quality. TENNESSEE SWEET POTATO—A splendid pie and cooking pumpkin. They gro-w pear- shaped, of medium size, slightly ribbed; skin is creamy white, lightlv striped with green; flesh very thick, creamy white, dry and flne-grained, keeping well until late in the spring! When cooked resembles sweet potatoes, but much more delicious in taste. CONNECTICUT FIEIiD—A fine, large, orange-colored variety used for field culture and stock feeding. The skin is smooth and ribbed and the flesh is brittle and sweet. TEIiZiOW CASHAW or CBOOKNECK—Solid flesh, fine and sweet; keeps well. O. 8e T. Rad- ishes thrive best in light, rich, sandy loam. The radish must make a rapid growth to be fit for use; it will then be crisp and tender and of a mild flavor.
