Marcia Road was redeveloped in 2001-2. Rather than use modern architectural or design ideas the new houses were, from the exterior at least, near exact replicas of the late Victorian houses which had existed on the site and still exist in nearby streets. The site was developed in two phases, the hoarding, across the street, separates the completed houses from the building site of the second phase.
