Bernard presided. The attendance was unusu- ally large. A communication from the Federal Horticultural Board dealing with the plant embargo was read and its contents discussed. The members decided to take no action. Paul Abele was appointed to repre- sent the society at the meeting called to organize the New Orleans Garden Club.
