Book of Hours, David penitent, This beautifully bound Book of Hours was completed in Bruges ca. 1490. The illuminator's style was influenced by the Master of Edward IV, active ca. 1470-90, and followers. The manuscript includes twelve full-page miniatures and twenty-five small miniatures, along with sacred and secular marginalia and some illusionistic borders.
