The payment for the entirepurchase from the Case estate amounted to $1,900,000, and up to1910, when the sites for the three main structures planiud in thecivic group had been bought, over $3,655,000 had been expended onthese items—for the court-house site, acres, $1,095,675; the cityhall site, acres, $404,899; the nuill, acres, $2,155,180. acres, at a cost of $3,655,754.
