Gentleman1 s Mag., for January, 1786. * Mr. Hargrove, several of whose papers haveenriched our magazine, (under the signature of E. H., K.)presents us with a considerably enlarged edition, of his His*tory of Knaresbrough; accompanied with a well-engraved Map,of nearly eight wapentakes ; and notices, at least, 60 places,in the environs of Harrogate. On the whole, this book appears to be executed in a man-ner, superior to most works of the kind
