Large dust storm sweeps through downtown Tucson Arizona at dusk. This monsoon type, severe thunderstorm had wind speed clocked at 65 miles per hour which snapped off power poles in South Tucson. These monsoon type storms build in the late afternoon in the southwest Arizona desert. This storm collapsed which sends out straight line winds of the type which created this dust storm, the power outages and power transmission line damage which occurred in South Tucson. Shot from a view point above Tucson on A-Mountain on a Canon EOS camera with a 70mm to 200mm lens, August, 8th. 2006.
