Soldiers assigned to the Army’s 690th Rapid Port Opening Element from Ft. Eustis, Va., combine efforts with Airmen from the Kentucky Air National Guard’s 123rd Contingency Response Group to establish a Joint Task Force-Port Opening during Operation Lone Oak at Volk Field, Wis., June 11, 2021. More than 50 RPOE soldiers supported the JTF-PO to establish a complete air logistics hub and surface distribution network.
