It climbs readily and is splendid for the window garden, or it may be grown as a bush plant by trimming it back as it grows. It bears neglect better than almost any plant we know, but responds readily to good care. 75c. per doz; $ per 100. MAMMOTH VERBENAS. No garden is complete unless it contains a bed of Verbenas, or a border planted with them. They flower incessantly throughout the season. STBOBILANTBES DTEBIANUS. STROBILANTHES DYERIANUS. A new and attractive plant for summer bedding, suitable also for growing in pots for house decoration. It forms a compact bush 18 inches high, with leaves 6 to 9 inches long and 8 to 4 inches wide, of the most intense metallic purple color, shading into light rose with a light green margin, a combination un- approached by any other plant. The flowers are of a violet blue and very pretty. It makes a most excellent bedding plant, hav- ing been planted out at the gardens of the White House, where it attracted considerable notice.
