The whole of the upper surface of the throat and neck is of a uniform sooty black, inclining to grey, witha slender bar of white, which extends half across the wings ; the under surface is a delicate white ; billblackish brown ; irides dark hazel; tarsi dark brown, with a slight tinge of olive.
