Heavily eroded coastal cliff. At left the area is seen in 2006, with a biodegradable netting covering a heavily eroded coastal cliff. The netting encourages plant regrowth and conserves the soil. The heather bundles reduce erosion on slopes. At right, it is 2015 and the area has recovered but at a cost of two million Euros. This area is now fenced to prevent a recurrence. In the background are eroded pink granite boulders and the Maison du Littoral, near Perros Guirec, Brittany, France.
