Engles riammoth—I^arge, ronnd, oval; sutureslight; yellow with red cheek; fiesh yellow, stonesmall, free; sweet, rich, juicy. Early September. Agood market sort. Jacques—Very large; deep yellow; has a high reputation. September. Picquets Late—Very large; yellow with redcheek; flesh yellow, buttery, rich, sweet, and of thehighest flavor. Early September. Gearys Hold On—Rare, yellow freestone; similarto the Smock, though some days later in ripening. Early Heath—Similar to White Heath, but largerand several days earlier. Smock—Fruit medium to large; skin light orangeyellow, mottled with red; some specimens dry, othersmoderately juicy, but all rich. Excellent as a latemarket sort. Oscar—Fruit large, juicy and rich.
