Second, theygained an extraordinary solidity onthe pavement, and did not , many horses Avhich alwayshad corns and sand-cracks, and couldnot be used without bar-shoes, spon-taneously recovered from their in-firmities after the application of thisshoe. Fourth, those fr o g s w h i c hwere before shrunken and etrangle^became considerably developed, afact which proves that this shoe is perfectly adapted to the physio-logical movements of the foot.
