He is dancingon a funeral pyre of papers, the results of the administration,its endless negotiations with France, its sinecures and patron-ages, which are blazing away. The creatures foot is dis-charging a gun, which produces signal mischief in the rear CENTURY IN CARICATURE 39 and brings down two heavy folios, the Magna Charta andthe Coronation Oath, upon its head.
