Snowdon and Llyn Padarn from Penllyn (Head of the Lake) in the Snowdonia National Park in Gwynedd, North Wales. The wooded area (left) is Fach Wen. The Llanberis Pass seperates the Snowdon Massif with the knife edge ridge of Crib Goch(Red Comb), Carnedd Ugain and the peak of Snowdon, the highest mountain in England & Wales. Moel Cynghorion is just to the right of Snowdon summit standing above the dominant woodland on the banks of Llyn Padarn. A plaque situated on the bridge at Penllyn with a relief map of the mountains.
