The figure on the rightof Christ is intended for St. Peter, and that on his left for St. John. Ibelieve that in no wood-cut, ancient or modern, is Christ representedwith so uncomely an aspect and so clumsy a No 3. The subject of No. 4 is Joseph making himself known to his brethren ;from Genesis, chapter XLV. 178 WOOD ENGRAVING
