Jewish deportees, carrying a few personal belongings in bundles and suitcases, march through Würzburg along the Hindenburgstrasse from the assembly center at the Platzscher Garten to the railroad station. From here they were sent to concentration camps in Eastern Europe where they almost all died. The photo is dated 25th April 1942.
