TAURAMA, Papua New Guinea (April 15, 2017) An officer with the Papua New Guinea Defense Force (PNGDF) greets Marines with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) prior to conducting the opening ceremony of a theater security cooperation engagement April 15. Embarked aboard USS Comstock (LSD 45), Marines and Sailors with the 11th MEU will conduct bilateral training with the PNGDF, designed to strengthen the military partnership between the two nations.
