They are easily grown from seed blooming con- tinuously throughout the summer and fall. The germination of Snap- dragon seed has proved to be easiest if finely sifted coal ashes are used as a seed bed. Prepare your seed pan in the usual way and add a layer of finely sifted coal ashes j inch deep on the top. Sow the seed thinly on top of the ashes and water carefully. Keep moderately moist in a fairly warm place until the seedhngs appear.
