Wounded warrior veteran, Cpl. Matt Bradford, United States Marine Corps (ret.), rides aboard a Blackhawk helicopter along with other veterans and Gold Star family members during the initial Middle East segment of his second experience with Operation Proper Exit. Bradford was severely injured in Afghanistan in 2007, when he stepped on an IED and lost his vision and both legs.
