PUGET SOUND, Wash - (Nov. 3, 2016) - Petty Officer 2nd Class, William Tomlinson (left), a native of Lancaster, Pa., scans the Puget Sound, while Petty Officer 3rd Class Alysa Alvarez , a native of Porterville, Calif, and Seaman Erik Miller, a native of Clarkston, Miss., stand watch on board USS Nimitz (CVN 68) during a transit through the Puget Sound. Nimitz is underway conducting routine operations in preparation for an upcoming 2017 deployment.
