Army Col. Matthew McFarlane, commanding officer of the 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division, presented Army 1st Sgt. Tim Conrad, the company first sergeant for Charlie Company, 3rd Battalion, 509th Infantry, 4-25 IBCT, with the Clydesdale Award after the Spartan Sprint Triathlon competition that began and ended at Buckner Gym Sept. 7, 2013, at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson.
