, Panmunjom, Gyeonggi, South Korea - Sculpture of unification at the Third Assault Tunnel within the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) near the former border village of Panmunjom, which is located in the Joint Security Area (JSA) within the narrow strip of border along the 38th parallel separating North Korea and South Korea. The Third Attack Tunnel is one of four formerly secret tunnels under the approximately four-kilometre-wide Demilitarized Zone between North Korea and South Korea, the existence of which is currently known. It was built from North Korea in the direction of South Korea. Even after more than 60 years since the end of the Korean War, there is still no official peace and tensions between the two Koreas remain very high.
