He called it the Monarch, because he considered it superiour to all others, and on account of its first perfecting its fruit in the first year of the reign of William IV. It seems likely to stand equally high in this country, and will, we hope, soon become widely disseminated. The tree is a strong grower and bears abundantly. By some unlucky error, Mr. Knight transmitted to this coun.
