According to Greek myth, Aeson takes his son Jason to Chiron's cave and whispers to him, "Fear not but go in."

In ancient Greek mythology, the Greek hero Jason sought the Golden Fleece in Colchis to bring it back to his uncle Pelias, who had usurped the throne of Iolcus (in Thessaly in Greece) from Jason's father, Aeson. After Pelias took the throne, Aeson took Jason away, fearing that Pelias would kill him. Aeson's plan was to take Jason to the centaur Chiron and have Chiron raise him. In this 1902 illustration, Aeson is outside Chiron's cave with Jason and whispers to him, "Fear not but go in."
