A contained jet fuel fire, used during a 10 day Silver Flag course, burns around an aircraft training structure at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida, Nov. 4, 2021. The 823rd Rapid Engineer Deployable Heavy Operational Repair Squadron Engineer Squadron Detachment 1, is the only Air Force location where firefighters are authorized to train with jet fuel and utilize foam, because they contain carcinogenic elements and the fire pit is fully contained.
