Mycenaean wall fresco, 1300 - 1180 BC, from the Palace of Mycenae Room with a Fresco. Mycenae. Mycenae archaeological site Museum, Greece. This fragment of Mycenaean fresco is a complete head and shoulders representation of a women in fine, possibly ceremonial, clothing holding her arms out. The body is drawn at a 3/4 angle whilst the hread is in profile. The rounded style of the facial depiction is similar to earlier Miona style of Crete
