The Landshut-Europahaus mountain refuge located on the Austrian Italian border near the resort town of Mayrhofen in the Zillertal Alps
The Landshut-Europahaus mountain refuge on the border between Austria and the Italian Sud Tirol in the Zillertal Alps. The hut was closed for many years due to a border dispute after WWI since the border actually runs through the hut, the north side being Austrian, the south side being the old Sud Tirol now the Italian Alto Adige.
