Buddhist monks of the Yellow Hat or Gelug Sect take a tea break while worshipping in Coqen Hall in the Ganden Buddhist monastery near Lhasa, Tibet.


The Ganden Monastery sits at the top of a natural amphitheater on Wangbur Mountain. It was founded in 1409 but was mostly destroyed in 1959 by the Chinese military. It has been partially rebuilt. Near Lhasa, Tibet.
