Focussed completely on its prey, the kingfisher’s steely focus and lighting quick movement has been sensationally captured in this series of pictures. Part-time photographer and traffic technician Petar Sabol (33) was so captivated by the beautiful little bird he spotted close to his home in Palovec, Croatia, that he was determined to capture its essence in a flawless picture - no matter how long it took him.
