Later, he continued his professional studies atGottingen, where he was intimately associated Avith Blumenbach,Langenbeck, Sr., Himly, and other celebrated instructors. When hehad studied at Leipzig only a year and a half, he received the prizeof the George-Augustus University for his work on the Scmeiologyof Sleeping and WaJxing.
