This image captures an old outhouse atop Fredonyer Peak in Lassen County, California, USA. The peak, at 8949 feet above sea level hosts a United states Forest Service lookout (the land itself is managed by the Bureau of Land Management). Approximately 9 miles on a dirt road in a 4x4 or some good hiking shoes is all that’s required to get you to this location and see some amazing vistas of near-by Eagle Lake or Horse Lake (dry) and the surrounding desert. I offer this image in both horizontal and vertical compositions as I think each has something to offer.
