During the site visit several alums testified, including C. Ladd Prosser of the Physiology class of 1932. Other highlights were the Cellular Neurobiology and Development of the Leech course under the leadership of David Weisblat of the University of California. David added a distinctly developmental flavor to the course and was also able to obtain funding from the National Science Foundation. A very lively two weeks were spent by students and faculty in the History of Biology course on Modern Evolutionary Biology led by Garland Allen of Washington University, St. Louis,.
